Wright’s teachings conflict with Dr. King’s vision of love: “You’d like to take Dr. King and repackage him into this wonderful, loving, sweet guy who has an olive branch in his hand. That’s not Dr. Martin Luther King. ‘Cause I knew him too.”

I put this on par with Senator Lloyd Benson’s famous takedown of Dan Quayle after he compared his level of experience to John F Kennedy: “Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. Senator, you’re no Jack Kennedy.”
