I loved the haunted mansion when I was a child – my favorite part of the Disneyland trip. I understood how they did some of the illusions, but I never figured this one out. Seeing an illusion explained today doesn’t “ruin” my childhood — it just makes my childhood last longer!

But childhood ruining is par for the educational course.
