Just thought I’d put out a reminder that the official deadline for the ‘classic science paper challenge’ is only two days away: May 31st. It will probably take me a couple of days to write up a wrap-up post about the ‘challenge’, so there’s a little leeway in submitting.
We’ve got such great entries so far; I encourage everyone to take a look at the links page!

Great stuff. I really enjoyed reading everyone’s entries.
I really hope this turns into a monthly carnival. Both science and history bloggers would love it.
Coturnix: What would it take to make it into a carnival? I’m quite ignorant of the process. I think it would be a great idea, too…
This would be great as a monthly thing. I would definitely continue to participate.
By the way, gg, on the page with the list of entries, the hyperlink to my blog “thoughts of gut bacteria” links to the open helix blog. Not a big deal, but just thought you should know.
ecoli: My bad! I’ve fixed it…
First read the outside links on this Wikipedia page, then e-mail me….
Ha! I picked the oldest paper!
Sorry, just got in on the deadline!
