If you ever browse through ResearchBlogging.org for posts about the latest state-of-the-art scientific research, you might be interested to know that there are now a collection of “content editors” who will be summarizing the most noteworthy posts in their field each week on the news page.
And the “editor-at-large” who reads and highlights the posts in the miscellaneous “less traveled” fields in ResearchBloggging is… me!
My first post, and the inaugural “editor’s selections” post, went up on Monday. I’ll be posting there every Monday for the foreseeable future, and will probably start cross-posting them here.
This is great news for science blogging. Looking forward to peruse through ever wider and interesting topics. Congratulations!

All the best on your upcoming book.

Wowsers! It’s been a while since I last saw such a pure example of pseudophysics in its natural environment. And “THE FINAL THEORY” has it all, right down to the out-of-context quotations from old Discover magazine articles, which apparently constitute the author’s entire physics education. I guess when you already know that everyone from Newton on was WRONG, you don’t need to work your way through Halliday and Resnick.
Blake: I didn’t even have the energy to go look at it, so I’m glad you took the leap for me!
I had the feeling I’d seen it before. However, those websites tend to blur together after a while. Site N + 1 is approximately equal to site N.
Ooh boy!
Quantum Jumping – The Inter-dimensional Quest for a Better You!
“…Are you still with me?”
No.
“Did that sound crazy?”
Yes.
“Quantum Jumping is the process of “jumping” into parallel dimensions, and gaining creativity, knowledge, wisdom and inspiration from alternate versions of yourself.”
I wonder if there’s a dimension where he makes half an ounce of sense.
