The deadline for the next edition is June 15th, and it will be held at Jost a mon. Entries can be submitted through blogcarnival.com or directly to the host blog, as usual.
Skulls in the Stars 
We wrote our submission specifically for the special edition, otherwise we don’t normally write on older papers in that style. Overall the special editions probably rope in a specific audience looking for the good blog in that particular field that are unwilling to wade through all of the entries they aren’t interested in.
