I’m doomed…

I’m not sure what to make of this xkcd comic; after all, I’m active in 3 of these categories, including the top one, and I do take a lot of elevators…

Well then so am I! I don’t skydive, but I do take elevators, garden, and of course–knit (who knew?)

  2. JS: Well, if it’s any consolation, the statistics indicate you’ll last much longer than me! 😛

You’re super-double-dog doomed now. Thanks to the viral popularity of that comic, my recent Google search for “died in a blogging accident” returned 13,700 hits!!!

  4. PD: Well, good; now any time someone tells me how dangerous skydiving is, I can tell them: I’m far more likely to die blogging! That’s how this works, right? 🙂

If we ever do determine that mortality rates are correlated to Google search-rankings, then God help anyone in the vicinity of <a href=”http://www.google.com/trends/hottrends?q=lynsey+nordstrom&date=2008-1-14&sa=X” Lynsey Nordstrom!

When I go, I hope it’s in a gardening accident. Preferably a bizarre one like my hero, John “Stumpy” Pepys.

  8. Mister DNA: Poor “Stumpy”! Alas, gardening seems overrepresented in the list. Would you settle for a knitting accident? They need their statistics filled in a bit… 🙂

“Died in a Lynsey Nordstrom accident.”

You have to admit, though, that it seems like a helluvaway to go! (Explain that at the Pearly Gates!)
