My friend Personal Demon has reminded me (and belatedly congratulated me) on my one-year blogging anniversary, which I began writing on August 14th, 2007. I had completely forgotten the date. Thanks to everyone who has been reading my posts so far; hopefully the next year will result in even better writing!

Today is Guiseppe Peano’s birthday so its a good day to have an anniversary. Keep up the good work and thanks for the stimulating post up till now.
If today is Peano’s birthday, then perhaps we should call this year successor-of-one of your blog.
Wow! I can’t believe it has been a whole year. I just went back and read some of your earlier posts and my comments – I actually had some intelligent things to say (when I wasn’t gushing over that hottie Simon Pegg).
We’ve had a lot happen in that last year – I went from being “The Girlfriend” to being “The Fiancee” (yay!), we went to Amsterdam, we bought a house and we acquired two new kitties. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
Congratulations on a year of successful blogging! Love you.
Thony, Blake: Thanks for the well wishes!
babs67: Love you, too! Yeah, it’s been a heck of a year since I started blogging. Here’s looking forward to the next one — and the rest of them after!
